Stephen M. Joseph is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and author based in Chennai, known for developing original stories across cinema and literary formats.

As a filmmaker, he approaches storytelling with a strong cinematic sensibility, combining human emotion, mystery, suspense, drama, humor and visual storytelling. His work often explores ordinary people placed in extraordinary circumstances, with a focus on characters, relationships and emotional consequences.

Stephen has written and directed feature-film projects and has developed stories across different genres and formats. His filmography includes Yosi, a Tamil thriller directed and written by him.

Alongside filmmaking, Stephen is also passionate about writing and publishing original stories as books, bringing a cinematic quality to the reading experience.
